Originally I had intended to use a 160cc Ducati engine for this bike. Once I started building it I decided to use a 250 instead. I thought the 250 would be easier to find parts for, obviously had better performance, and probably wouldn't cost much more than a 160. A few years ago you could find 160s cheap, if not free. Now they seem to be gaining popularity, aka the prices are going up just like all vintage Ducatis.
The pics above are just placeholders. I'll be using the engine from the 250 Monza I already have as that bike is slated to get a 350 installed.
